PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

Every decision is important, and the Board encourages the public to attend meetings – to become informed and express their opinions.

Meeting agendas include Communications and Comments from the Public during which members of the audience are invited to speak to the Board on any school matter that may concern them. Speakers are asked to state their name, address and the identity of an organization, if any, they may represent.  Questions and comments should be addressed to the president.

The Board of Education Governance and Communication Practices and Protocols can be viewed here

Time for public comment on specific agenda items is often included.
